21 Lee County residents in their twenties test positive for COVID-19

As of July 18, there have been 21 Lee County residents in their twenties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 461 residents in their twenties in the county who had been tested, meaning that four percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through July 18, there have been 113 confirmed COVID-19 cases and two deaths from the coronavirus in Lee County.

Illinois gathers all of its COVID-19 data from across the state electronically. The reported cases and deaths will fluctuate as additional info is gathered. Chicago was home to one of the first known cases of COVID-19 in the US, as well as it's transmission.
