Report: Eastland School District spent $12,721 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Eastland Community Unit School District 308 was up 0.5 percent from five years ago, according to the NW Illinois News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Carroll County school district spent $12,660 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,721 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 632 to 664 students over the same period.

Eastland's spending in 2019-20 was 12.2 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
