Report: Orangeville School District spent $12,807 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Orangeville Community Unit School District 203 was up 20.1 percent from five years ago, according to the NW Illinois News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Stephenson County school district spent $10,665 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,807 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 365 to 305 students over the same period.

Orangeville's spending in 2019-20 was 11.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
