Illinois state Sen. Win Stoller (R-Germantown Hills) has welcomed Jim Nowlan to his district staff.

Stoller made the announcement in a July 29 Facebook post.

"I am beyond excited to welcome Jim Nowlan to my district staff," Stoller said in the post. "Jim has a long and distinguished history in government and public service, which will be a crucial asset as our office continues its efforts to provide the people of the 37th Senate District with exemplary constituent services."

In his Facebook post, Stoller shared a link from the Geneseo Republic about the addition of Nowlan to his team.

Nowlan has also spent time at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) as a professor, a biography from UIC said.

Stoller, a Republican, was first elected to the Illinois Senate in 2021; the Illinois Senate said. His legislative experience includes serving on the Environment and Conservation Committee and the Senate Higher Education Committee. He resides in Germantown Hills.
