2. 24-0222 Speakers from the Floor/Public Comment
Chief Kovacic – Went and spoke with the owner/operator of Stoned Painter last week. Had a conversation and the person said he is not operating his business out of the garage. It is a prerequisite to try painting while partaking in cannabis. They are not selling cannabis and it is bring your own. He is not charging a fee for the garage to come and paint. There is a charge when he goes to private residences for his business. Chief Kovacic then informed him of the laws he needs to make sure he follows. Also was told that there was activity late at night. Chief Kovacic has been working some Friday nights and drove by at different times of the night and did not see any activity. Also informed him of the transportation and use of Cannabis. Suggested that they might want to make sure that they have rides waiting for the people as they would be over the legal limit. He guarantees that he and his wife are not running a business out of the residency.
