State Representative Brad Fritts (R-Dixon) announced the launch of a new community calendar function on his official website today.
“Beginning today, my official website will begin hosting a ‘Community Calendar’ page for upcoming local events,” said Rep. Fritts. “I’ve heard from many constituents and organizations who want to support our local communities but don’t know where to start. This calendar will be a streamlined way for residents to find all local events in one location.”
The calendar can be accessed by visiting RepFritts.com and selecting ‘Community Calendar’ under ‘Events’. Those interested in submitting a community event are advised to visit the same site for instructions or email repfrittsstaff@ilhousegop.org for more information.
State ethics laws apply to the site, meaning restrictions on event postings exist. For-profit, political, or personal events will not be posted. Final decisions on allowable events are made at the discretion of the Office of Rep. Fritts.
