State Representative Bradley J. Fritts has announced the launch of a new 'Community Calendar' on his official state website. The calendar aims to provide residents with a centralized location for upcoming community events. According to Rep. Fritts, "During my time touring the 74th District, I’ve heard from many constituents and organizations who want to support our local communities but don’t know where to start."

To view or submit events, residents can visit the official website. However, due to state ethics laws, certain restrictions apply: for-profit, political, or personal events will not be posted.

Rep. Fritts is also organizing his second annual Hunter Safety Course this September at the Rochelle Masonic Lodge. Reservations are required and can be made by contacting his office at 815-561-3690.

Additionally, National Kool-Aid Day will be celebrated with free Kool-Aid in front of Rep. Fritts' district office in Dixon from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM or until supplies last.

The upcoming summer tour includes Coffee & Conversation sessions on August 20 at A’s Kitchen in Rock Falls and August 21 at Ziggie’s Family Restaurant in Mendota. Traveling Office Hours will take place on August 13 at Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce and Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce; and on August 15 at Earlville City Building, Waterman Village Hall, and Shabbona Public Works Building.

Rep. Fritts shared highlights from recent community outreach activities including attending the Ogle County Fair and Lee County Fair, touring Sterling Steel facility, participating in United Way of Whiteside County’s “Let’s Feed Our Children” program, attending LaSalle County Township Officials Picnic, and celebrating various local business milestones such as Clearly Exteriors Pressure Washing joining Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and Allure of Sterling's new memory care wing opening.
