The University of Illinois Extension is offering a Farm Business Structure Basics Webinar on October 22 to assist producers in selecting the appropriate business structure for their farm or ranch operations.
The webinar will be conducted by staff from Farm Commons, a national nonprofit organization specializing in legal education for farmers, in collaboration with the University of Illinois Extension. The session aims to guide producers on applying decision-making factors to their situations, including tax advantages and business practices, and emphasize the importance of good governance to prevent potential issues.
