Household hazardous waste collection drive set for October 26

State Representative Bradley J. Fritts has announced a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Drive in collaboration with House Minority Leader Tony McCombie, Sauk Valley Community College, and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon. "I encourage residents to come out and utilize this free service that will make our community safer!" said Rep. Fritts.

Reservations are necessary for participation and can be made online through RepFritts.com, where additional details and a list of accepted items are available.

Rep. Fritts also attended the 6th annual Manufacturing Dinner at Sauk Valley Community College, organized by the Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce. Industry leaders shared insights as local manufacturing was celebrated.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers visited E. D. Etnyre & Company during their manufacturing bus tour, receiving thanks from Rep. Fritts for supporting local manufacturing efforts.

Staff members from Rep. Fritts' office participated in two stops on the ‘Makers on the Move’ tour at Raynor Garage Doors in Dixon and IDEAL Electrical in Sycamore, events hosted by the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) and the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC). "So proud of both Raynor and IDEAL for their continued excellence in manufacturing!" commented Rep. Fritts.

The final stop on the Association of Equipment Manufacturers bus tour within District 74 took place at HCC, Inc., Mendota. Appreciation was expressed by Rep. Fritts towards all manufacturers in his district.

A roundtable discussion hosted by the Illinois Department on Aging provided an opportunity to address issues facing seniors in Illinois.

Rep. Fritts introduced a new 'Community Calendar' on his official state website to facilitate information about upcoming community events within District 74 while adhering to state ethics laws concerning event postings.
