There were 18 Asian students enrolled in Lee County school districts in the 2022-23 school year, 10% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Asian students made up 0.5% of the 3,723 students in the county. They were the least represented ethnicity at the time.

Among the five districts in Lee County, Dixon Unit School District 170 recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 18 students.
