This week, House Minority Leader Tony McCombie participated in various events within her 89th District. These gatherings provided opportunities to engage with constituents, address questions on state matters, and hear concerns about Illinois's future.
McCombie co-hosted an Education Summit with State Representative Jeff Keicher. This third annual event brought together education stakeholders to discuss topics related to education, school districts, and students. The discussion was described as robust, and both representatives plan to continue these dialogues throughout the legislative session.
Additionally, McCombie attended the unveiling of completed roadwork by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) in Galena. The project focused on improving safety while preserving the historic appeal that attracts numerous visitors annually.
During her district tour, McCombie also visited the Genoa Police Department to express gratitude towards officers for their service and dedication to community safety.
