City of Fulton City Council met April 28.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

1. Call to order the Council meeting for the City of Fulton.

2. Roll Call

3. The Pledge of Allegiance

4. Thank you and recognition to outgoing Alderpersons Paul Banker and Jeff Brondyke. Also to Mayor Pro Tem Keith King for filling the vacancy of Mayor for the last 5 months. King will return to his position as 3rd Ward Alderperson.

Swear in newly elected officials. Mayor, Shane Malone and 4th Ward Alderperson, Kathy Suehl. They now will take their place on the Council Floor.

5. Presentations – Northern Illinois University Virtual Presentation for a Comprehensive & Strategic Plan for the City of Fulton. (5:35 p.m.)

6. Communication from Visitors (Any communication that is NOT on the agenda for consideration.)

Dan Dolan will address the Council regarding his business plan.

7. Consent Agenda (All items in the consent agenda will be enacted by a single motion and roll call vote. Any item may be removed upon request by the Mayor or any Aldermen and considered individually after all other items of business on the consent agenda.)

• Approve Regular Meeting Minutes from April 14, 2025, City Council Meeting (pages 3-6)

• Approve the Treasurer’s Report dated March 31, 2025. (pages 7-14)

8. Motion to approve and vote for the addition of a B-1 Liquor License for the City of Fulton.

9. Motion to Approve and Vote on a Real Estate Purchase Agreement with Ryan Eissens.

10. Motion to Approve and Vote on an Ordinance Authorizing the Purchase of Certain Real Estate (New Roadway in Block 12, Range 4, City of Fulton) (pages 18-19)

11. Motion to Approve and Vote on an Ordinance Amending the Charges for Municipal Water and Sewer Services in Title 5, Entitled Public Works (pages 20-21)
