Andrew S. Chesney, Illinois State Senator for 45th District | Illinois General Assembly
State Senator Andrew Chesney’s constituent services staff will hold Traveling Office Hours in several communities throughout the 45th District in the coming weeks. The initiative aims to make it easier for residents to access assistance with state-related issues without having to travel far from home.
“My highly trained constituent services staff is very skilled at helping residents cut through the red tape of government bureaucracy and they can help most people resolve issues involving state agencies or departments,” said Chesney. “Because the 45th District is geographically quite large, my staff is bringing the services provided by the office to communities across Northwest Illinois.”
Staff members are available to assist with a range of matters, including unemployment issues, FOID and Concealed Carry delays, professional licensure concerns, and other problems involving state agencies or departments. Residents are encouraged to attend whichever event location is most convenient for them.
The schedule for Traveling Office Hours includes stops in Genoa, South Beloit, Machesney Park, Rockton, and Roscoe between August 21 and September 4. Each event will be staffed by constituent services personnel; Senator Chesney himself will not be present.
No appointments are required for these sessions. For more information about the events, constituents can contact Senator Chesney’s office at (815) 232-0074.
Chesney was elected as a Republican to represent Illinois' 45th Senate District in 2023, succeeding Brian Stewart. More details on his election can be found at https://www.ilga.gov/senate/Senator.asp?GA=103&MemberID=3202.
