Sauk Valley Community College recently issued the following announcement.

Tricks, Treats & Something Good to Eat Virtual Trip

Tricks, Treats & Something Good to Eat

Saturday, October 16
9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Celebrate Halloween by traveling virtually to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and sampling sweet treats while listening to stories of the city’s history and culture, and view behind the scenes videos. Participants will need a computer or mobile device, sound, and internet connection for the virtual tour portion.

A box of samples will be mailed directly to participants the week of October 11. Boxes include: Creepy Corn popcorn from Pop’s Kettle Corn in Muskego, a milk chocolate Halloween variety pack from Ultimate Confections in Wauwatosa, Spice House’s Mulling Spices, an original Ziegler Chocolate Bar, and 2 traditional soul cakes from La Tarte Bakery.

Boxes are $89. You can share the experience or keep all the treats for yourself. Virtual tours also make a great gift or care package for a friend who loves traveling. Contents are planned to be adequate for two participants to share the tour experience.
