Fritts chose Oliver’s Corner Market in Dixon for their community support and dedication to providing a quality neighborhood grocery store. The market, founded by Tim and Patty Oliver in 1987, hosts weekend cookouts to aid local fundraising efforts. Notably, Oliver’s played a crucial role in saving the Rock River Valley Shamrock Club's annual Saint Patrick’s Day parade through community fundraising.

Construction at the Interstate 39/80 interchange in LaSalle County is set to commence on Monday, Sept. 9. The ramps will be closed during weekdays, with a posted detour directing traffic to use the inner loop ramps throughout the project. Completion is scheduled for late November.

Rep. Fritts hosts hazardous waste collection drive in Dixon
State Representative Bradley Fritts (R-Dixon) and House Minority Leader Tony McCombie (R-Savanna) will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Drive on Saturday, October 26th, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event will be held at Sauk Valley Community College, located at 173 IL-2 N in Dixon. This initiative is in collaboration with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) and Sauk Valley Community College.

Construction on Interstate 39 in La Salle County to begin September 3
Construction on Interstate 39 through La Salle County will commence on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The project will involve patching 36 miles of I-39 in La Salle County, from the Marshall County line to just south of the Lee County line. Intermittent lane closures will occur throughout the duration of the project, which is anticipated to be completed by November.
